POP ART IS FOR EVERYONE, 2012
It was great to be inspired during this Christmas holiday. For those who loves/admires the art or charm of Andy Warhol, would be familiar with the exhibition poster of Marilyn Monroe which was one of the iconic portraits from Warhol.
I went to the exhibition on the day of Christmas Eve and it was not as crowded as I expected.
The exhibition was situated in the second floor of the museum with one gallery showing paintings, drawings and illustrations in 1950s 'Life in New York' which was the beginning in his artistic career and shifting to his significant period in 1960s 'The Factory Years'; whereas the other gallery showcases Warhol's famous portrait in 1970s to his pinnacle time in1980s.
Unfortunately it was not allowed to take photographic in the exhibition (I wish I have the press pass!)but it was worth the time to go get inspired!
